   This was a second purchase of these sturdy, well made bags. The family now has about 50 of them and use them in NY, VA, CA, TX and OH. Whether you’re shopping at the local farmers’ market, the supermarket or Wally World, the bags are convenient, avoid waste, reduce pulluting landfills with plastic and demonstrate a positive attitude about the users’ habits. And, I have NEVER had one of them break with a bottle of wine or fresh damp vegitables between the car and the kitchen. And when you’re not shopping, they offer multiple service to haul books, art supplies, a picnic lunch or beach towels. My advice, buy them for each car, and use them.    I was looking for an inexpensive way to organize baby, dog, etc stuff in my car. This bags are unbeatable for the price! Nice thick cotton canvas. The outer pockets are very handy for putting things in that you need quick access to. It’s actually softer (not quite as rigid canvas) than it looks in the picture. It’s not quite as heavy duty as LLBean canvas tote bags, but for < $4 I’m sold!

   I walk with a cane and find it difficult to climb steps with the mail in one hand and the cane in the other. This low-cost bag solves the problem. The straps are long enough so that I can sling them over my shoulder when I climb our exerior steps.

   And it a very durable bag that is great to use to pick up our mail even in blustery, rainy weather.
