   i have many things to say about this laptop, mainly positive things, but let me get one thing out of the way. I had an issue with this laptop popping up the system 32 folder whenever i right clicked on some of the task bar menus and when selecting any options in the backup and restore windows program. it was so annyoing, i had amazon replace my laptop, i completely reformatted, but STILL had that system 32 nightmare where when i tried to perform certain tasks the system 32 folder pops up. all i wanted to do was restore my files from a hard drive. I found a solution that put an end to this frustration. i looked through all the programs and took a close look at what some programs i did not need. i uninstalled my-win-locker and shredder and otheer programs. i dont remember what programs they were, but whatever you do, do NOT uninstall any programs by intel or the acer Erecovery management. so i would advise that you uninstall the shredder and my win locker program.

   overall the laptop is great for games like sims 2, sims 3, i have not fully tested out the sims 3 at max settings in a big house, but it works fine for me at full resolution.

   you can enhance the colors by right clicking on the desktop and selecting graphics properties and color enhancement. but if you saturate the colors or contrast too much you might get a headache from looking at it or the graphic details might go down, so i would suggest that you set the saturation at 10 – 20, the default setting is 0. you can also adjust other settings in the color enhancement tab.

   depending on what you are doing you may get that “has stopped working” error, but it is usually dependent on what program you are using. i might give more detail when i have time, but i just wanted to give some vital information about this laptop

   For the price point this product is a good solid performer. Although it isn’t a “top of the line” “bleeding edge” computer it is surprisingly fast and stable right out of the box. For the price point it really seems to be a no brainer. If you are looking for something more powerful than a netbook, but don’t want to pay for the bleeding edge, you’ll be completly satisfied with this product.
